Even I am a fan of Facebook, but what is the real deal on Facebook? What do I even use it? Apparently, its supposed to be a social networked used for maintaining social relationships. I dont know if I even agree on this; I mean, why dont I just use my cell to talk to the people that I really want to talk to? Wouldn’t it just be easier and faster to get what I have to say across via phone?

While all of the above runs hot on my mind, I’m still fascinated by Facebook’s capabilities, it lets me meet new people, keep scheduled events, and even get help on somethings that I wouldn’t ask any other people. Even though, its not the best way to consume my time, it does keep me busy in the summer, or so it has, and I encourage anyone to join who’s destiny is to meet new people.

Google Rivals…

We have all heard of Yahoo and Google, but what about the other private companies that live in their shadows?  While Google bought out Youtube for its  video sharing and made it its own, the private companies such as Quigo are silently creeping up to the competition of Google. Google’s two biggest advertising campaigns are called Google’s Adwords, and Google’s Adsense, while Yahoo has its “Yahoo Content Match.”

While those 2 big companies are matching the cards, Quigo is using its own “Adsonar” to profit. CNN, news companies, use Google and Yahoo for advertisements, but Quigo has finally made its course when ESPN signed to use Adsonar in the Fall. So, beware all of you Google/Yahoo users out there, dont be surprised if you start hearing Quigo in the presence of Google and Yahoo
