So, I just read that this band has recently dis-banded. I’m not sure when it happen, or even that it happened because I was just blog surfing, but if you find out that the band has truly broken up, leave a comment or something to inform me. My favorite song from these guys was Halycon Daze… it was a classic for me.

Cartel – Chroma

Chroma was a really good cd, with good single hits such as Honestly. The best part of the cd, or I thought, was when Cartel mixed up “Q” and “A” with the lyrics from Luckie St. It was cool to hear the same lyric in a different tune. Anyways, this is just another Cartel update, and song list. I just found out that Cartel has a new video for Say Anything Else. So check it out!

Mae Video

My friend wanted to listen to Ocean by Mae a while ago, and he didn’t want to download the music because he wanted to preview it first. So, since I suggested that he listen to it, I went on a search on Youtube, I typed in “The Ocean” and I found this video that doesn’t really feel like Mae’s video but I guess it must be. So I went back to my friend and told him that he should listen to it, and he did, he liked it. Who wouldn’t like it right? lol.

So, afterwards, I found another video, which I’m sure is not Mae’s video, but it was a

How am I you ask me? Well, I’m going to have to say that I’m content, I played a little bit of monopoly today and almost thought about going for a swim. I’m swell because I’ve been listening to Cartel’s new cd the whole day today pretty much, and I really like, I don’t know if its better than the first cd. All I can say is that the type of music is different. Will’s (Cartel’s lead singer) voice sounds as sweet as its ever sounded, and I can almost see him singing. I was looking back at Cartel’s older stuff and I came upon this cover by Cartel. Wonderwall ! ! !

I know that usually screaming throws music into a different rhythm, but the way Cartel screams in this sounds really good, as well as his attempt to those higher notes. I wish I could find a mp3 or mp4 copy of this song. Anyways, just check it out.

Silverstein NEW RELEASE

I was a big fan of Silverstein’s “Discovering the Waterfront” cd. I think that Arrivals and Departures from Silverstein is similiar to their last cd. I usually don’t like the screaming that a lot of bands use, but Silverstein’s use of the “scream” effect sounds decent. Check it up !!! and keep on rockin on ! ! !
